The initiative aims to recognize private sector companies that adopt and implement equality, diversity, and inclusion policies in the workplace. Accepting the Diversity Label on behalf of the company, Katerina Fragkoudaki, People and Culture Manager, stated: “We are particularly proud to be among the first companies to receive this award, but at the same time it gives us an even greater responsibility to keep going. For JTI Hellas, this recognition confirms that we are moving in the right direction — building a work environment where every person feels accepted, has equal opportunities, and can be themselves. Diversity and inclusion are not just theoretical concepts for us. They are part of our daily life and our culture, and they are what help us grow, innovate, and move forward.”

Domna Michailidou: The award of the Diversity Label to JTI Hellas recognizes a meaningful effort
Commenting on the presentation of the Diversity Label, Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Domna Michailidou, stated: “The award of the Diversity Label to JTI Hellas is recognition of an effort that carries great significance: making inclusion a part of a company’s everyday operations. A modern workplace is not evaluated solely by its financial results, but also by the way it treats its people, creates equal opportunities, respects diversity, and prevents exclusion and discrimination. The Label is not a mere formality. It is the result of a specific evaluation process and it rewards companies that demonstrate in practice that equality and inclusion can become a permanent part of workplace culture.”
