AKTOR, Venture Global and the state of Albania signed a 20-year agreement in Tirana for the supply of American LNG natural gas, in the presence of US Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle. The ambassador commented on the $6 billion agreement, which is certainly considered of historic significance for the Balkan state. “It was an honor to travel to Tirana to advance President Donald Trump’s energy agenda and to participate alongside Prime Minister Edi Rama in the signing ceremony,” she said, continuing to speak about the beneficial consequences of US cooperation with Greece and Albania: “When the United States, Albania and Greece work together, this region is more connected, more secure and more prosperous.”
