Police are treating with considerable skepticism the claims made by the Polish man (of Ukrainian origin) who called authorities in the Agios Panteleimonas thriller case. There are significant gaps in the narrative of the 48-year-old injured man, who was found bloodied essentially outside the apartment on Serafi Street in Agios Panteleimonas on Friday afternoon (10/10). The person who called authorities to report the alleged attack, which resulted in the fatal injury of his 31-year-old compatriot, has been viewed with skepticism by police almost from the first moment.
Agios Panteleimonas: Contradictions in Polish man’s statement about fatal incident
There are many unanswered questions in this shocking case, as the 48-year-old’s narrative remains incomplete. The alleged victim of an attack by four unknown individuals, without any specific motive, in the first-floor apartment, is being treated at Evangelismos Hospital. It’s clear that authorities continue to approach him with particular delicacy in order to distinguish truth from potentially deceptive testimony.
From the outset, officers from the Z-Team who arrived at the scene found that doors and windows had not been forced open. This could mean two things: Either the alleged four perpetrators who used unprecedented violence against the 31-year-old were known to both victims, or there was never a break-in and whatever happened occurred from within. Meaning there was a confrontation between the two Polish men inside the first-floor apartment that resulted in the brutal beating of the 31-year-old.

Suspicious electronic devices found in Agios Panteleimonas apartment
Very significant is the fact that a large number of electronic devices were found inside the residence. This unusual “cargo” within the apartment raises red flags for experienced police officers. It’s possible we’re dealing with criminal individuals who, for some personal reason, came to blows, escalating to a deadly fight.
Notably, no wounds were found on the victim that would suggest weapon use, which reinforces the scenario of the involved parties engaging in physical combat.
Police are investigating the origin of all these devices, and it’s no secret that they’re estimated to be either stolen goods or some form of contraband for further exploitation. So far, there’s no information regarding any potential response from the 48-year-old to related police questions. This process will continue today, as the Polish man didn’t appear to be in a condition capable of cooperating with authorities.
Another interesting issue for officers from the Athens Security Subdivision concerns how the 48-year-old allegedly escaped from his restraints and notified emergency services. The 31-year-old victim was found with bound hands, and the 48-year-old claims he suffered the same fate. The hospitalized man allegedly maintained that he too was bound with plastic cable ties, which he managed to cut.
