Theodoros Kolydas, citing data from NOA/METEO, presented encouraging news regarding rainfall levels in the Athens basin. Specifically, the former director of the Hellenic National Meteorological Service posted about rainfall in Athens, noting that in just the first seven days of October, the region already reached the average rainfall typically observed throughout the entire month, publishing a map with data from NOA/Meteo weather stations. Moreover, as he emphasizes, the data is positive for other areas of the country as well, mainly in the western and northern regions.

Kolydas: “We’ve reached the baseline…”
Specifically, in his post Mr. Kolydas states: “We’ve reached the baseline… In Athens, on average throughout the entire month of October, 40 to 50mm of rainfall is recorded. According to the data so far from NOA/Meteo weather stations, in the first seven days of the month we have already reached these values.
More is expected towards the middle of next week, while the balance is also positive in other areas of the country, mainly in the western and northern regions.”
