Israeli activist posted a shocking video showing the moment of his arrest by the Israeli army after he managed to enter the Gaza Strip as a protest against the ongoing war and in solidarity with flotilla activists. Specifically, activist Itamar Greenberg, an ultra-Orthodox Haredi Jew, refused to serve in the Israeli army and fight against Palestinians but decided to go to Gaza as an activist and act against his own country. “Right now: breaking the siege. We are literally in Gaza!” Greenberg posted on social media as he walked and entered Gaza Strip territory. Subsequently, just minutes later, he was surrounded and arrested by the Israeli army.
Israeli activist: “Boycott Israel – Isolate it”
Earlier, Greenberg had posted “against the apartheid and genocide state.” “Boycott Israel. Isolate it. Apply all the pressure you can. Stop the genocide. Honor to the flotilla activists, honor to resisters worldwide. Resist everywhere!” he specifically wrote.
