An unspeakable tragedy occurred this afternoon in Thessaloniki, when a 50-year-old man allegedly murdered his sister and then notified police. According to initial reports, the perpetrator allegedly suffocated the unfortunate 65-year-old woman with a plastic bag. The case has been taken over by the local police department.
The horrific incident occurred in the Harilaou area, specifically on Alexandrias Street. According to ERT, the 50-year-old allegedly caused his sister’s asphyxiation death using a plastic bag and then called the Emergency Response Unit himself. Police rushed to the scene where they found the woman dead and arrested the perpetrator, who is being held at the Harilaou Police Station.
