The local community of Patras remains shocked after news broke that four minors forced a 13-year-old girl to kneel and kiss their feet, threatening to stab her if she refused. According to pelop, the incident occurred outside the entrance of a local high school, with the Director of Secondary Education of Achaia, George Papatsimba, stating that the four girls approached the 13-year-old and forced her to bend down and kiss their feet, threatened and insulted her while filming their actions with a mobile phone.
The four minors, aged 15, 14, 14 and 13 years old, were located shortly afterward and arrested by officers from the Crime Investigation and Detection Subdivision. Charges were filed against them including illegal violence, violation of personal data legislation, threats and insults. Additionally, charges were filed against their parents for neglect of supervision and submitted to the Public Prosecutor.

The mother of the 13-year-old spoke about the incident to Mega, claiming that her daughter denies saying anything about the specific girls, who attend the same school together. “Supposedly she had said something about the girls, which my daughter denies. They made her kneel down, telling her ‘kiss my feet, otherwise I’ll stab you’. My child did it, because cars were passing right behind” she initially stated, adding that her daughter didn’t see them holding any knife or sharp object.
She then spoke about the video that exists, filmed by one of the four girls, showing three of them while the 13-year-old kisses their feet. “This is a bit difficult to publish yet, because it’s with the Police. I’ve filed a complaint, the matter is proceeding differently,” added the bullying victim’s mother. In closing, she demanded exemplary punishment for the girls, so that nothing similar or worse happens to another child, while mentioning that her daughter is afraid to go outside, even for a walk, and that her grandfather accompanies her to school.
