However, the requirements vary by profession and the key criterion is the number of insurance stamps you have accumulated during the previous period. Those interested have until November 30, 2025 to complete the application process and secure the allowance which ranges from €687 to €1,375.
General requirements for seasonal allowance
To receive the allowance, you typically need to meet the following criteria:
-Work as an employee in a seasonal sector.
-Have completed a specific number of insured working days (stamps) in your sector during the previous year.
Seasonal allowance: Sample requirements by sector
Construction workers: Need 95 to 210 working days, including holidays and supplements.
Tourism and hospitality: Require at least 100 working days in the last 12 months, provided the worker has been seasonally employed for two consecutive periods.
