The owner of Pizza Fan, Konstantinos Antaras, has been ordered into pretrial detention following his hearing before the 32nd examining magistrate in connection with an alleged tax evasion case. His alleged right-hand man, the suspected deputy leader of the criminal organization, has been placed under house arrest with an electronic monitoring bracelet, while six other defendants were released under restrictive conditions — in some cases with bail set at up to €6,000. The hearings for the remaining five defendants are ongoing and are expected to conclude in the early hours of the morning. Earlier, the accused restaurant chain owner denied all charges and expressed willingness to immediately settle any outstanding obligations to the Greek state without waiting for a final court ruling.
