Pensioners are counting down for the payment of August 2025 pensions, with the first payments starting in the coming days.
Specifically, the official payment start date is Monday, July 28. However, pensioners from non-salaried funds – namely OAEE, OGA and ETAA – as well as new pensioners, will see the amounts in their accounts earlier, from today, Friday July 25, after 5:00 PM, at ATMs.
More specifically, payments will be made:
- On Monday, July 28, 2025, main pensions from the former Non-Salaried funds OAEE, OGA and ETAA will be paid, main pensions awarded from the establishment of EFKA onwards, under law 4387/2016, through OPS-EFKA (pensioners Salaried & Non-Salaried from January 1, 2017 onwards) and all supplementary pensions of the private sector (Non-Salaried and Salaried).
- On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, main pensions from the former Salaried Funds [IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE, DEH, OTHER INTEGRATED (TSEAPGSO, TSP-ISAP), NAT, ETAT and ETAP-MME] will be paid, as well as main and supplementary pensions of the Public Sector.
IKA, Public Sector, NAT, DEKO and Bank pensioners will see the money in ATMs on Tuesday (29/7), after 5:00 PM in the afternoon.
It should be noted that by the end of September EFKA plans retroactive payments up to €11,500 to 78,000 pensioners. As announced, the process mainly concerns three major categories of beneficiaries:
- 40,000 pensioners with recalculation based on the Vroutsis law (Law 4670/2020),
- 42,000 military retirees and
- 8,000 public sector pensioners who won legal appeals regarding solidarity contribution deductions.
