On Friday, July 25, the admission scores for Higher Education Institutions will be announced, as already announced by Education Minister Sofia Zacharaki. This announcement marks the end of the waiting period for thousands of candidates from this year’s Panhellenic Examinations and their families.
A total of 88,637 candidates participated in this year’s examinations, competing for 68,788 positions in university departments for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Based on available data so far, no significant changes in admission scores are expected. However, specific variations are anticipated by academic field, depending on candidate performance and demand per department.
Specifically:
- A downward trend is predicted for Field 1 (Humanities) with a decline that could reach 200 points, and for Field 3 (Health Sciences) with a reduction of approximately 50 to 150 points.
- Regarding Fields 2 and 4 (Positive Sciences and Economics & Computer Science Studies), admission scores are expected to rise by approximately 150-200 points, except for competitive schools in Field 2, which are expected to see a greater increase in their admission scores.
The official announcement of admission scores will be available electronically through the Ministry of Education’s special platform, while candidates will also be able to receive updates via SMS if they have registered for the relevant service.
