The Technogym “Let’s Move & Donate Food” campaign, which took place from March 10 to 27, 2026, highlighted the power of the global community and the value of collective action. The initiative is part of the company’s long-term social program “Let’s Move for a Better World” and encouraged people from around the world to move more, while contributing to the donation of school meals for children in need, through collaboration with the World Food Programme.
The Technogym campaign
During the campaign, participants recorded their MOVEs – Technogym’s unit of movement measurement – through the company’s connected digital ecosystem. For every 2,000 MOVEs collected, one school meal was donated to a child in need.
The global community’s response was impressive, collecting over 1 billion MOVEs, which corresponded to more than 500,000 school meals. In recognition of the enthusiasm and exceptional participation from both industry professionals and end users, Technogym decided to double its contribution, raising the total donation to 1 million school meals.
On June 3, during the Let’s Move Conference held at Technogym Village, in the presence of approximately 200 industry professionals from 21 countries, Technogym President and Founder Nerio Alessandri formalized the donation by symbolically presenting a check for 1 million school meals to Richard Wilcox, Director of Global Partnerships at the World Food Programme.
Through the campaign, every person had the opportunity to transform their physical activity into meaningful social contribution. Every workout contributed to a global goal, proving that movement can be a driving force for real change and for a healthier and more inclusive world.
Technogym has been promoting physical exercise for decades as a fundamental tool for health, prevention and long-term wellness. In an era where sedentary lifestyle is continuously increasing and the number of overweight people is more than double that of undernourished people, the campaign symbolically transformed “excess” calories into valuable meals for those who need them most.
