Women who inspire, lead, provoke, are charismatic and authentic, and have left their mark, come to captivate audiences this June on Novalife through “Women’s Stories” every Tuesday at 9:00 PM. The documentaries that subscribers will enjoy as premieres are “Janet Jackson Ep.1 & 2” (June 9) and “Janet Jackson Ep.3 & 4” (June 16) and “Whitney: Can I Be Me” (June 23).

As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of her first album, the 4-hour documentary presents the story of Janet Jackson as she returns to her hometown of Gary, Indiana, where her incredible journey began. Speaking more openly than ever, Janet reveals everything. In the 1st episode (June 9), at seven years old, strict Joe Jackson puts Janet into the family show. Since no one ever asked if she wanted to become an artist, she must carve her own path. In the 2nd part (June 9), after two failed albums and a failed marriage, Janet decides that if she’s going to have a music career, she’ll do it on her own terms, taking control of her life.
The continuation with the 3rd documentary (June 16) where Janet signs multimillion-dollar endorsement deals, stars in movies, and becomes a sex symbol. However, when the scandal breaks with allegations against Michael, her world collapses. The finale with the 4th part (June 16) where after the ‘nipplegate’ scandal, Janet finds herself blacklisted from the industry. Refusing to watch her fall, friends and fans fight to have her recognized as a true stage legend.
Meanwhile, subscribers will enjoy the premiere documentary “Whitney: Can I Be Me” (June 23). The Whitney Houston documentary follows her path to fame, her struggle with addiction, and her tragic death, revealing the difficulties hidden behind her success. During June, subscribers will also have the opportunity to revisit the documentary “Barbra Streisand Becoming an Icon” (June 30).
At the same time, weekends will feature “Women’s Stories” on Novalife (8:00 PM) about women who left their own mark.
