The Budget (at Central Administration level) showed, according to data from the Bank of Greece, a cash surplus of €920 million in the January-March quarter compared to a surplus of €1.45 billion in the corresponding period last year.

However, according to the data, the primary surplus of the State Budget was increased, reaching €3.5 billion compared to €3.3 billion last year. Regular budget revenues reached €16.9 billion, up from €16.85 billion last year.
Finally, regarding regular budget expenditures, these reached €15.8 billion compared to €15.4 billion in the January-March 2025 period.
