Iran publishes target list of critical UAE infrastructure
At the same time, Fars News Agency, linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), published a chart of potential critical infrastructure targets in the United Arab Emirates, intensifying concerns about further escalation in the Gulf.
The list includes:
- the Jebel Ali power generation and desalination complex in Dubai,
- the Barakah nuclear power plant in Abu Dhabi,
- the Al Taweelah power station,
- the M Station unit in Dubai,
- and the Mohammed bin Rashid solar park.
According to the report, potential strikes on these facilities could cause extensive power outages, serious problems with water desalination and operational disruptions to critical infrastructure such as data centers.
The same outlet reports that Tehran has prepared “special and unprecedented measures” against the UAE and Bahrain, should there be a ground military operation against Iranian islands. The response, according to the same source, would be “particularly strong and exemplary.”
