The conditions for payment of pending declarations concerning non-owner-used agricultural plots up to 20 acres within the framework of the Single Application for Support (SAS) for 2025 are determined by a new decision of the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food in cooperation with the Greek tax authority (AADE). According to the decision, which was published in the Government Gazette, agricultural plots that are not used by their owner and have an area of 20 acres or less, may exceptionally be considered eligible for SAS 2025 even if they do not have a Property Identity Number (ATAK) or National Cadastre Code Number (KAEK).

The same applies to cases where an incorrect ATAK or/and KAEK has been registered in the application. This regulation makes it possible to proceed with payment of related pending declarations within the framework of the CAP 2025 declarations. At the same time, until March 24, the digital application “Responsible declaration of agricultural land possession” will remain available on the myBusinessSupport platform, through which interested parties can submit the necessary declarations.
The requirements
With the submission of the responsible declaration, lawful possession of the agricultural plot is presumed, while agricultural land use is confirmed through the Area Monitoring System (AMS).
Specifically, according to the decision, the conditions for payment of pending declarations are as follows:
Proof of lawful possession of the agricultural plot, which is presumed with the submission of a Responsible Declaration through the digital application “Responsible declaration of agricultural land possession” on the AADE myBusinessSupport platform, in which the following is declared:
i) the cause of possession, among the values:
• Verbal use agreement,
• Exchange,
• Other cause,
• I wish this to be excluded
ii) that the person submitting the responsible declaration throughout the agricultural year 2025 possesses and uses in good faith and without legal dispute the agricultural plots appearing in the application which they have included in the SAS for 2025.
Also, a prerequisite is the confirmation of agricultural land use through the Area Monitoring System (AMS).
AADE services may carry out any necessary checks to verify the truthfulness of the responsible declarations, as well as those submitted for the same reason on the AADE myBusinessSupport platform from December 23, 2025 to January 13, 2026.
In case it is found that the responsible declaration has been submitted falsely, AADE proceeds with procedures to recover paid subsidies connected to the declaration in question, without prior offsetting against pending payments of other subsidies to the person submitting the responsible declaration.
The AADE myBusinessSupport platform
Meanwhile, AADE has launched the digital application “Responsible declaration of agricultural land possession” on the myBusinessSupport platform, through which the possibility of submitting a responsible declaration of agricultural land possession for the Single Application for Support (SAS) for 2025 is provided.
The application will be available for submission of declarations until March 24, 2026 at 23:59:59.
It should be noted that the regulation concerns non-owner-used agricultural plots up to 20 acres, for which no Property Identity Number (ATAK) or/and National Cadastre Code Number (KAEK) has been assigned or an incorrect one has been declared in SAS 2025.
