On Friday, January 9th, Russia carried out an attack using the Oreshnik ballistic missile, destroying a fighter aircraft repair facility in Ukraine. The attack killed four people and cut heating supplies to half of the Ukrainian capital. The fact that Russia launched this devastating ballistic missile once again since invading Ukraine was condemned by the European Union, Berlin, Paris, and London, who saw it as an “escalation” by Moscow.
