A robbery occurred on Tuesday evening, December 30th, in Agios Dimitrios, Athens, perpetrated by a man who impersonated a police officer. Specifically, the incident took place around 8:10 PM on Agiou Dimitriou Avenue 249, when the perpetrator, who was driving a car, approached a 33-year-old Pakistani citizen who was waiting at a bus stop.

According to reports, the man got out of his vehicle and shouted “hands up, Police!” causing the victim to become frightened and comply. Taking advantage of the moment, the perpetrator took the 33-year-old’s jacket and wallet.
When the victim realized he was dealing with a fraudster and not a police officer, he jumped into the vehicle and a struggle ensued. Despite his resistance, the perpetrator managed to escape and is being sought by authorities.
