The farmers proceeded to open toll booths on Saturday afternoon, as their mobilizations continue, to allow passage for travelers who are increasing in numbers as the holidays approach. Specifically, a short while ago, at the E65 blockade in Karditsa, they opened the Sofades toll booths.
Barriers open at Nikaia junction toll booths until 2:00 PM
Meanwhile, farmers from the Nikaia blockade also raised the barriers at the Makrychorio toll booths and will keep them open until 2 PM, something that will be repeated on Sunday. The farmers raised the barriers and put covers on the cameras. Soon, they have planned to distribute apples to passing drivers, while farmers from Farsala will distribute halva from Farsala.

Following the same approach at the Drosochorio toll booths on Egnatia Road, after a decision made by the Kalpaki blockade, farmers proceeded. Epirustv reports that passing drivers expressed their support saying: “not one step back, we’re with you.”
At the same time, farmers from Thessaloniki also opened the Oraiokastro toll booths shortly after 12 PM.
Blockades at customs
At the same time, farmers are also blocking customs at the country’s entry gates today as part of their mobilizations. Farmers at the Exochi customs are escalating their mobilizations, having decided not to allow truck passage until 10 PM. Yesterday their mobilization lasted 8 hours. At their general assembly at 7 PM, they will determine their stance for Sunday.
Farmers at Promachonas customs are also oriented toward a blockade until 8 PM for trucks, depending on the decision of their coordination committee meeting. A four-hour blockade is also expected today at Evzones customs, from 6 PM to 10 PM, applying to all vehicles.

Malgara toll booths closed
Meanwhile, the Athens-Thessaloniki national road remains closed at the Malgara toll booths, where farmers have reinforced their forces with tractors. The farmers blocked yesterday the Thessaloniki-bound traffic and plan to keep it closed until Tuesday. The Athens-bound traffic has been blocked since December 1st.
Farmers in Derveni have announced that from 12 PM for three hours they will raise the barriers at the Oraiokastro toll booths on the outer ring road and distribute products to passing drivers. Farmers continue mobilizations at the Southern Katerini Junction, at Ephesos in Pieria, at Niseli in Imathia, and at Kerdylia in Serres.
Chaliki Aetoloacarnania: Two hard blockades
At the Chaliki position in Aetoloacarnania, Western Greece is cut in two, with immovable blockades on the Ionia Road and Olympia. On Friday evening, the bypass road, the Old National Road Antirrio-Ioannina, opened.
The farmers and livestock breeders of Aetoloacarnania are determined and after many days at Angelokastro, they went with their tractors and also closed this bypass road. As they report, they will continue during the holiday days, but with open toll booths.
Chalcis: Blockade at the high bridge
Farmers from Evia closed the road at the high bridge yesterday at seven in the evening for three hours, while for the first time they also closed bypass roads. Today from 6 to 8, farmers from Evia will proceed with exactly the same pattern, while for Sunday, in coordination with farmers from Central Greece, they are determined to go to the Afidnes toll booths, where they will raise the barriers for vehicles to pass freely.
Regarding the coming days, for Monday and Tuesday, they have scheduled new mobilizations with longer duration and naturally with closure of all bypass roads, at the high bridge of Chalcis and around the bridge.
