Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis welcomed the new presidents of New Democracy’s local party organizations (DEEP) at his Parliament office, following the completion of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group session.

The newly elected presidents are in the capital – those from regional organizations – for the Summit of DEEP and DIMTO presidents taking place on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 at OAKA.
This is a closed briefing meeting on organizational matters and current affairs. The Summit will be held under Prime Minister and New Democracy President Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The Summit proceedings will begin with a presentation by ND Organizational Secretary Stelios Kontadakis, followed by presentations from Political Committee Secretary Kostas Skrekas, New Democracy General Director Yiannis Smyrlis, Parliamentary Group General Secretary Maximos Charakopoulos, and ONNED President Orpheas Georgiou.

New Democracy: Who will speak during the Summit
During the two-day Summit proceedings, government officials will deliver speeches on their portfolios, including: Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, Minister of National Economy and Finance Kyriakos Pierrakakis, Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis, Interior Minister Thodoris Livanios, Education, Religious Affairs and Sports Minister Sofia Zacharaki, Infrastructure and Transport Minister Christos Dimas, Environment and Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou, Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos, Labor and Social Security Minister Niki Kerameos, Citizen Protection Minister Michalis Chrysochoidis, Justice Minister Giorgos Floridis, Culture Minister Lina Mendoni, Migration and Asylum Minister Thanos Plevris, Social Cohesion and Family Minister Domna Michailidou, Rural Development and Food Minister Kostas Tsiaras, Maritime Affairs and Island Policy Minister Vasilis Kikilas, Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni, Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Minister Yiannis Kefalogiannakis, Deputy Health Minister Eirini Agapidaki, Deputy Defense Minister Thanasis Davakis, Deputy Digital Governance Minister Christos Dermentzopulos, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister Thanasis Kontogeorgis, and Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis.

Additionally, thematic presentations will be delivered by the Prime Minister’s Digital Communications Director Nikos Romanos, ND Press Representative Alexandra Sdoukou, and ND Press Office Director Charis Chatzicharalambous, while the Director of the Scientific Council of the “Konstantinos Karamanlis” Democracy Institute, Panos Stathopoulos, will also address the Summit.
