Russian drone hit a pool in Zaporizhzhia. Not some strategic facility with biolab-engineered penguins, not a pool where we train our military Godzilla, but just a regular old pool. They literally did it for fun. pic.twitter.com/OCWwwKS7t7

Zaporizhzhia: Four injured in the attack
According to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, who shared the video on Telegram, a total of four people were injured in the attack. One of the injured is currently hospitalized, while no further details have been provided on the condition of the remaining three. The incident adds to the long list of attacks recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region, which continues to be at the center of ongoing military operations.
Extensive damage to the sports facility
The drone impact caused severe structural damage to the sports facility. Sections of the building’s roof collapsed upon impact, with debris falling into the pool and surrounding areas, significantly increasing the danger for those present at the time. The security camera footage vividly captures the moments of panic that followed, as swimmers scrambled to evacuate the area in the wake of the explosion and partial roof collapse. The incident once again highlights the devastating impact that drone attacks continue to have on civilian-populated areas across Ukraine — even striking facilities used by non-combatants — as local authorities continue to assess the damage and provide assistance to the injured.
