US President Donald Trump has arrived in Geneva ahead of the G7 summit taking place this week. Notably, the new US agreement with Iran is expected to be at the center of the topics to be discussed.
Trump-Macron meeting ahead of G7 summit
Donald Trump departed from Washington by air during the night, just hours after hosting a UFC event at the White House South Lawn. The US President arrived at Geneva airport and will proceed to Évian-les-Bains, France, the Alpine resort where this year’s G7 leaders’ summit is taking place.
Later today, Monday (15/06), he is expected to have a private meeting with the summit host, French President Emmanuel Macron, with whom his relations have gone through periods of tension over the past decade.
