A shocking incident took place in Nebraska, USA, when a 31-year-old woman kidnapped a 3-year-old child at knifepoint. The 31-year-old grabbed the 3-year-old child from a Walmart store in Nebraska under knife threat. Security camera footage captured the kidnapping frame by frame. The video shows the 31-year-old stealing a kitchen knife from the store and approaching the child while he was with his mother. Moments later, she is seen brandishing the knife and forcing the woman to step away while the 3-year-old was in the shopping cart. Police officers rushed to the scene, locating the woman with the 3-year-old in the store’s parking lot. Although they repeatedly asked her to step away, the 31-year-old ultimately stabbed the child and police officers neutralized her.

The child was transported to the hospital with injuries to his face and hand but is in good health. “The responding officers acted professionally and intervened to save the child’s life,” said Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer in a statement. “The community can be assured that Omaha police officers are ready to act with courage and determination in the most serious situations to protect the public,” he continued.
