Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held a brief video call on Monday afternoon (July 27) with acclaimed director Christopher Nolan, on the occasion of the theatrical release of “The Odyssey.”
During the video call, Mitsotakis congratulated the British filmmaker on his cinematic adaptation of Homer’s epic poem and thanked him for the film’s contribution to sparking renewed global interest in ancient Greek civilization. The Prime Minister added that productions such as this one serve as a bridge between Greece’s rich cultural heritage and modern creative expression.
