Foreign Ministry: Gerapetritis to meet Jerusalem Patriarch Monday

Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis is expected to meet tomorrow, Monday (8/6) at 12:30 p.m., with His Beatitude Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III, during his visit to Athens.

Meeting of Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis with His Beatitude Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine Theophilos III (Athens, 08.06.2026)

Foreign Minister Georgios Gerapetritis will meet tomorrow, Monday June 8 at 12:30 p.m., with His Beatitude Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III, during his visit to Athens.

Subsequently, Mr. Gerapetritis will host an official luncheon at 1:00 p.m. in honor of the Patriarch of Jerusalem.

This will be preceded, at 12:50 p.m., by the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of the Hellenic Republic, on one hand, and the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, on the other, for cooperation in the protection and preservation of the Patriarchate’s material cultural heritage.
