A poll conducted by Marc shows the vote estimate gap between New Democracy and the Hellenic Left Coalition at 15.1% (30.8% versus 15.7%). Hope for Democracy has also surpassed PASOK. Maria Karystianou’s party registers 10.9%, while PASOK follows with 10.3%. The narrow 0.6 percentage point difference between the two parties creates intense interest for capturing third place in citizens’ preferences.

Marc poll: Mitsotakis most suitable, decline for Androulakis
New Democracy holds a 12.7% lead over ELAS in voting intention. Specifically, it gathered 26.17%, compared to 14% for Tsipras’s party. Hope (9.5%) also leads PASOK in voting intention.

Regarding the intention of those who did not vote in the 2023 elections, Hope leads with 14.4%, followed by ELAS (12.3%), New Democracy (10.9%) and Course of Freedom (10.5%).

Regarding the most suitable leader, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads over Alexis Tsipras, 31% versus 16.4%. An interesting finding concerns the appeal political leaders have as most suitable prime ministers among their own party voters. While Kyriakos Mitsotakis gathers 69.8% of New Democracy supporters and Alexis Tsipras 57.9% of SYRIZA voters, PASOK supporters show lack of confidence in Nikos Androulakis, with only 25.4% trusting him as most suitable.

Eight-party parliament
The poll shows the next parliament will have eight parties. SYRIZA remains excluded, with its percentages collapsing to 1.8%, while Afroditi Latinopoulou’s Voice of Reason barely enters parliament with 3.7% in the vote estimate, within the margin of statistical error.
Marc also measures voter certainty about their ballot choice, a measurement that yields impressive results: the lowest uncertainty rate belongs to the portion of the electorate choosing New Democracy, with 85.9% being “very or quite sure” and 13.9% declaring “maybe I’ll change” or “not sure at all” about their choice, followed by ELAS with vote uncertainty at 18.9%.
The highest vote uncertainty belongs to citizens choosing Greek Solution (48.3%), Course of Freedom (40.7%), PASOK (35.1%), Hope for Democracy (33.6%) and KKE (25.2%).
