The president of Greek Solution party, Kyriakos Velopoulos, appeared particularly sharp when commenting on Athens’ stance toward Ukraine. In light of recent developments, Mr. Velopoulos launched attacks against the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, using the popular saying that “since the apology came out, honor has been lost,” according to an official party statement.

“In this case, honor was lost by the government, because it declares itself satisfied with an apology, while it should have cut all funding from the Ukrainians, who are friends of the Turks and enemies of Greece, not only because of the drone, but also because of their stance on Cyprus,” emphasized Mr. Velopoulos.
