The new political landscape is captured in a GPO poll presented on Star’s main news bulletin with Mara Zacharea, by analyst Antonis Papargyris. New Democracy gathers 25% in voting intention while rising to 28.6% in vote estimation. However, it shows a declining trend compared to the corresponding March survey.
Alexis Tsipras back in second place with “ELAS”
In second place, A. Tsipras’s ELAS party stabilizes with 13.2% in intention and 15.1% in vote estimation.
PASOK is in third place with 10.8% in intention and 12.4% in vote estimation.
Fourth party is Hope for Democracy led by M. Karystianou with 9.2% in voting intention and 10.5% in estimation.
Greek Solution in vote estimation gathers 8.9%, KKE 8.6% and Course of Freedom 4.7%.
Below the 3% threshold are registered MeRA 25 with 2.5% in vote estimation, Voice of Reason with 2.4%, Victory with 1.6% and SYRIZA with 1.3%.
ELAS draws more votes from SYRIZA 64.9%, New Left 33.3%, MeRA 25 10.5% and Course of Freedom 9.1%.
Hope for Democracy draws the most votes from Victory 25.7%, Voice of Reason 25%, Greek Solution 13.1% and Course of Freedom 12.1%.


Who is the most suitable prime minister
Regarding the question of the most suitable Prime Minister, the top five are as follows: K. Mitsotakis 26.3%, A. Tsipras 15.1%, N. Androulakis 8.2%, K. Velopoulos 7.3%, M. Karystianou 7.1%. “None” answers spontaneously 18.7%.

After the elections, 27.5% would like New Democracy to continue as government with K. Mitsotakis as Prime Minister while 69.1% would like another government to be elected.

Citizens believe that the following can constitute an alternative government proposal: ELAS 15.2%, PASOK 12.4%, Greek Solution 7.8%, Hope for Democracy 7.8%, KKE 4.4% and Course of Freedom 3%. None answers 29.3%

Inflation, foreign policy and rule of law problems
Citizens give better ratings to A. Tsipras on questions about tackling inflation, foreign policy and who can beat K. Mitsotakis.

M. Karystianou leads in who can mobilize citizens who stay out of politics, address rule of law problems and give hope and prospects.

Positive and rather positive feelings about the establishment of M. Karystianou’s party are 33.6% and for A. Tsipras’s party 32.6%
