A new mini heatwave is on the horizon, as starting tomorrow, Thursday (20/8), temperatures are set to climb once again.

In more detail, today’s weather will be generally clear with light cloud cover, temporarily increasing during the midday and afternoon hours over mainland areas and Crete — particularly in mountainous regions where local showers are expected, along with isolated thunderstorms in central and eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Morning visibility will be locally reduced, mainly in southern areas.
Winds in western regions will blow from westerly directions at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while in eastern areas they will be variable and light, locally westerly to northwesterly up to 4 Beaufort. Temperatures will not see any significant change, reaching 31 to 34°C in most areas and locally 35 to 37°C in mainland regions.
