Authorities arrested two young men on Monday (10/8) on the island of Mykonos in connection with a drug trafficking case. The two suspects are charged with drug trafficking as co-perpetrators.

Mykonos: Two young men arrested for drug trafficking
The suspects are a 23-year-old Greek national and a 23-year-old foreign national, against whom the Mykonos Police Sub-Directorate has filed felony-level criminal charges. According to police, the investigation revealed that the two accused had allegedly been involved in drug trafficking since mid-July, using motorcycles to move around the island and distribute narcotics to users.
Following the assessment of evidence and close monitoring of their activities, police organized a targeted operation. On Monday afternoon, officers located both 23-year-olds in succession and proceeded to search their vehicles, as well as a residence that, according to the Hellenic Police, was being used as a drug storage facility.
4.6kg of cannabis and 688g of cocaine seized
During the searches, a total of more than 4.6 kilograms of unprocessed cannabis and approximately 688 grams of cocaine were confiscated, part of which had already been divided into dozens of small packages ready for distribution.
Also found in the possession of the two suspects were €21,800 in cash, two mobile phones, and a precision scale. Officers also seized the two motorcycles allegedly used for drug distribution. The two arrestees are set to be brought before the First Instance Prosecutor of Syros.
