He had previously been arrested after smashing shop windows together with his brother.
In addition to containers of flammable liquid, the Forensic Investigations Division team seized mobile phones and other digital evidence, which are currently under examination at forensic laboratories.
His alleged role in the case
According to authorities, the 25-year-old is believed to be the key link connecting the case. He was acquainted with the young owner of the apartment that investigators say was used as a staging ground by the perpetrators. As the apartment’s owner stated in his testimony, he handed the keys over to the 25-year-old without knowing they would ultimately end up in the hands of other individuals.
