The runway at Zakynthos “Dionysios Solomos” Airport has been temporarily suspended from operations following an emergency landing by a F-16 fighter jet belonging to the Hellenic Air Force. Airport operator Fraport Greece announced that the runway remains closed for operational reasons until further notice, resulting in the need for a full review of scheduled flight operations.
