A horrifying case has emerged after a 43-year-old woman was charged with the brutal torture of a 55-year-old woman in Heraklion, Crete — with the entire attack recorded on a mobile phone.
She beat her with a club and other objects
According to a report by neakriti, the incident took place on June 5th at a house owned by a 61-year-old Albanian man, where he lived alongside the 55-year-old woman and the 43-year-old suspect believed to have carried out the savage attack. According to the same sources, the 43-year-old allegedly beat the 55-year-old with a club and various other objects, causing her serious physical harm.
The most chilling detail of the case is that the assault was reportedly recorded on video using a mobile phone — one that did not belong to the perpetrator, but to a 53-year-old friend of hers. A few days later, the 43-year-old returned the phone to her friend, leaving the footage of the abuse on the device. The 53-year-old, while searching through files on her phone, discovered approximately 10 videos of the torture and on June 25th filed a formal complaint with the police.
What was uncovered during the police investigation
According to the report, a police search of the premises led to the discovery of clumps of hair, blood-stained bed linen, objects allegedly used during the assault, and an axe reportedly used to cut the 55-year-old woman’s hair. On July 3rd, authorities arrested the 43-year-old Romanian suspect, along with the 61-year-old homeowner.
The case has now been referred to the judicial authorities, with investigators examining all aspects of this deeply disturbing incident.
