According to information available so far, investigators are treating the case as a hooligan incident involving individuals allegedly affiliated with two major football clubs in the city center.
The brawl took place at the intersection of Kremou and Megaloupolis streets, where officers recovered several items now being examined as part of the investigation, including a screwdriver, a knife, and a piece of clothing.
Two arrests have been made so far; however, both are related to drug law violations and are not, at this stage, connected to the homicide or direct involvement in the fatal confrontation.
The Organized Crime Investigation Division (DAOE) has taken charge of the investigation, with officers actively collecting surveillance footage, witness statements, and physical evidence in order to identify the perpetrators and establish the exact circumstances of the deadly attack.
