A serious traffic accident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Aetolia-Acarnania, when a passenger car veered off course and fell into a ravine 30 meters deep. The vehicle was occupied by a mother, who was driving, along with her child.
According to information from agriniopress, the incident took place in the area of Agia Sophia Thermos, specifically at the height of the cemetery. Under circumstances that remain unclear, the car went off the road and ended up at the bottom of the ravine, in dense vegetation.

From the vehicle’s fall, fortunately both the mother and her child were lightly injured. An ambulance immediately rushed to the scene, picked up the two injured persons and transported them urgently to the Thermos Health Center for first aid and necessary medical examinations.
