According to the “Dia-SOS-te ti Mesara” page, the incident occurred when the driver of a motorcycle lost control and violently collided with another two-wheeled vehicle. The second vehicle, which was towing a small cart, was stationary at the side of the road at the time, where its rider had parked it.
According to neakriti.gr, initial reports suggest that the collision did not result in serious injuries to either driver.
The incident raises renewed concerns among residents of the broader Kapariana area, who report particularly frequent traffic accidents at this specific location. As they point out, this is a road with heavy traffic and very high speeds, which increases the risk of accidents.
Residents are calling on the police to examine the issue and take measures to enhance road safety in the area.
