The anesthesiologist from General Cancer Hospital “Agioi Anargyroi” has already been referred to the disciplinary board of the 1st Health Region (YPE) of Attica administration. The doctor appeared in a controversial video that reached Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, showing him demanding a “fakelaki” (under-the-table payment) of 100-150 euros from a hospitalized patient.
Referral of the corrupt anesthesiologist from General Cancer Hospital “Agioi Anargyroi”
The referral of the corrupt anesthesiologist to the disciplinary board of the 1st Health Region of Attica administration is completely independent from the findings of the sworn administrative investigation (EDE). Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis has ordered this investigation against the anesthesiologist, and its findings are expected to be sent from the “Agioi Anargyroi” administration to the 1st YPE Attica administration by Friday, May 29 at the latest.
According to well-informed sources from parapolitika.gr, the date for the relevant disciplinary board session of the 1st YPE Attica administration has already been scheduled by the regional director, Olga Balaoura.
It should be noted that the anesthesiologist has already been suspended from duties, following orders from Adonis Georgiadis and related actions by the “Agioi Anargyroi” hospital administration.
