An unbelievable “heist” was carried out by unknown perpetrators in the early hours of today (1/5) in Artemida, managing in record time to rip out an entire ATM and disappear without a trace.
The incredible incident was reported to authorities shortly after 03:00 in the early morning hours. According to reports, unknown perpetrators approached the ATM located on Karamanlis Avenue 31 and managed not only to lift it but also to load the entire machine onto a farm truck, fleeing hastily from the scene.
According to sources, the amount stolen remains unknown, while little information is available regarding the identity and direction of the perpetrators.
The case has been taken over by the local Crime Investigation and Detection Unit, while the Organized Crime Directorate and specifically the Burglary Division are discreetly monitoring and assisting in the preliminary investigation.
