A very difficult week has already begun for the “tough” battle that the deputy minister to the prime minister, George Mylonakis, is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Athens’ “Evangelismos” hospital.
Five days hospitalized and intubated, in very critical condition, George Mylonakis will complete in a few hours, today at noon, in the ICU of “Evangelismos”, following a brain aneurysm rupture that manifested on the morning of last Wednesday. It should be noted that, according to what parapolitika.gr has reported from the first moment, the current week is very critical for George Mylonakis, as the sixth and seventh days of his hospitalization in the institution’s ICU are the days when the risk of developing the dreaded massive cerebral edema will peak, while the danger of developing a secondary ischemic episode can extend up to the 14th day of his hospitalization in the “Evangelismos” ICU.
It should be noted, however, that each day George Mylonakis passes without major complications in the “Evangelismos” ICU represents a gain for him and the progress of his health condition, while also providing the necessary time for the patient’s brain to absorb the subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by the rupture of the cerebral aneurysm.
Logically, the administration of “Evangelismos” is expected to issue today, later within Monday, April 20, the third consecutive medical bulletin regarding the progress of the deputy minister to the prime minister’s health condition.
