Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG) has achieved Platinum distinction — the highest recognition level awarded by the internationally renowned business sustainability assessment organization EcoVadis — placing it among the top 1% of all companies evaluated worldwide, across all industries.
Furthermore, Hellenic Healthcare Group is the only healthcare group in Greece to have earned Platinum distinction from EcoVadis, making this year’s achievement particularly significant and firmly establishing the Group’s position as a leader in the adoption of high standards for sustainable and responsible business operations.
What the Platinum distinction means
EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading business sustainability rating organizations. Its methodology evaluates the quality and effectiveness of a company’s sustainability management systems across four core pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Business Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment, therefore, goes far beyond environmental performance or isolated corporate responsibility initiatives. It takes a comprehensive look at an organization’s policies, procedures, and management systems — and, critically, how these are implemented in practice.
EcoVadis has assessed more than 150,000 companies across over 250 industries and 185 countries, establishing a globally recognized framework for evaluating corporate sustainability.
The Platinum rating represents EcoVadis’s highest tier and is awarded exclusively to companies that rank in the top 1% of all businesses assessed by the organization over the previous 12 months.

This year’s Platinum distinction is the result of a multi-year journey of successive assessments, through which Hellenic Healthcare Group has systematically evaluated its policies and practices, identified areas for further improvement, and continuously strengthened its sustainable operations framework.
The journey began with a Silver distinction for the 2021–2022 period, followed by a Silver Medal for 2022–2023. A Bronze Medal followed for the 2023–2024 period, before the Group returned to Silver level for 2024–2025.
This year, the Group has achieved Platinum distinction — its most significant leap to date — reaching the highest tier of international sustainability assessment. This progression reflects the Group’s systematic approach to sustainability and its ongoing commitment to strengthening the relevant policies, processes, and practices.
