The subsidiary of AKTOR Group, Ellinika Latomeia, has acquired 51% of Rigas Paros, according to an official announcement on the Stock Exchange. The transaction amount reaches €6 million based on a valuation that takes into account the existing dynamics of the operating quarry in Marathi, Paros.

AKTOR Group announces that its 100% subsidiary “ELLINIKA LATOMEIA” has completed the acquisition of 51% of the company “RIGAS PAROS IKE”, which operates in the marble quarrying and aggregate materials sector in Paros, carried out at a marble factory in the Marathi area of Paros. The transaction amount reaches €6 million based on a valuation that considers the existing potential of the operating quarry.
The acquisition further strengthens the development of AKTOR Group’s quarrying activities sector, and is expected to contribute significantly to its further growth, as it will allow the Group to expand into a new and critical geographical area where increased local demand exists, while it can also cover the increased demand in the broader Aegean region, as well as support the Group’s activities in other areas of the country.
The acquisition is part of AKTOR Group’s strategic planning framework and, specifically, the strengthening of the Construction Sector.
