A shocking traffic accident occurred on Thursday morning in Arignano, Turin, when a school bus collided with a car, resulting in the death of the car driver and injuries to 22 students. According to fonteufficiale, the bus was carrying a total of 50 students, of whom the injured sustained only bruises and minor injuries.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Borgo Cremera street with Borgo Nuovo. The car driver was heading toward Castelnuovo don Bosco, while the bus was traveling toward Chieri. The victim is a 33-year-old Romanian resident of Mombello Torinese, who was returning home from work.
According to the bus driver’s statement, he saw the car approaching at high speed and attempted to avoid it by turning right, but was unable to prevent the collision.

Italy: Injured students and the immediate aftermath of the accident
Two ambulances from the 118 service and a rescue helicopter rushed to the scene from Turin, but attempts to revive the driver were unsuccessful. Some of the injured students were taken to Maggiore hospital in Chieri, while investigations into the cause of the accident continue.
