New details emerge months after the traffic accident in Kolonaki, where a parked SUV went on a wild rampage and struck innocent people. Six of the eleven victims, including a well-known photographer, two models and a famous influencer with thousands of followers, are preparing massive lawsuits. According to the “Super Katerina” show, the victims are photographer Haris Farsarakis, Evangelia Smyrniotaki and a couple of well-known models.
Kolonaki accident: Influencer and photographer in ICU for several days
Evangelia Smyrniotaki, an influencer with followers in Greece and abroad, was hospitalized for a considerable time at KAT hospital. She had confided to Katerina Kainourgiou that everything happened in fractions of a second and she initially thought it was some kind of terrorist attack. The well-known photographer was trapped under the SUV. The luxury SUV reversed from Loukianou Street and ended up crashing into people sitting at a nearby restaurant.

Eleven people were injured and taken to KAT hospital. Haris Farsarakis was in ICU for a month and had lost 20 kilos of muscle mass. Along with five others among the injured, they are preparing to file lawsuits that will exceed one million euros. Both he and the other victims fought tremendous battles to recover and get back on their feet.

As stated by lawyer Tellos Agapinos, representing Haris Farsarakis and five other victims among the 11 injured, these people suffered tremendously. “Mr. Farsarakis was in intensive care for over a month. He lost 20 kilos of muscle mass. His entire body atrophied. He still doesn’t know the exact extent of damage he has sustained. The others have very serious fractures. They have very serious difficulties with their mobility. They have very serious difficulties in their lives. Psychiatric trauma, as you can understand. They haven’t worked for so many months,” he said and added:
“That table was the first table that the car crashed into. It was the first table that the vehicle crushed, and in fact, it crushed the seriously injured man, and the vehicle itself trapped him after crashing into the tree, and various people who rushed to help at that moment freed him.”
