Shocking new details have emerged about the actions of the Karneadou clinic doctor after paramedics took Giorgos Mazonakis away. As revealed in a Star TV report, the 56-year-old doctor — who has been remanded in custody over the singer’s death — not only failed to accompany him in the ambulance, but immediately returned to perform a plasmapheresis treatment on a second patient, reportedly upselling her an additional therapy worth €1,600.
Doctor abandoned Mazonakis, changed clothes, and continued treatment on another patient
According to the Star TV report, just minutes after paramedics had taken Giorgos Mazonakis away — leaving his belongings behind in the ambulance — the doctor calmly returned to her Kolonaki clinic on Karneadou Street and carried on as if nothing had happened.
The report states that the 56-year-old changed her clothes and then walked directly into the adjacent room, where a Swiss patient was already undergoing a parallel plasmapheresis session, and continued administering the treatment without interruption. This account is corroborated by the testimony of a hypnotherapist who was present at the clinic, and who stated that he asked the doctor why she had not accompanied the singer in the ambulance — to which she replied that she had a patient to attend to.
Even more striking is the revelation that the doctor then summoned a nurse — who had witnessed the entire preceding sequence of events — and instructed her to draw 60 ml of the patient’s blood and perform centrifugation using the now-notorious Miracell device, with the apparent intention of charging the patient an additional €1,600, according to the report.
