A shocking incident occurred in the early hours of Monday (20.10), when an unidentified man stabbed to death a 37-year-old foreign national outside a popular nightclub in the Peristeri area of Athens.
How the deadly incident unfolded in Peristeri
It was shortly before 03:30 when authorities received a call about the deadly episode. A 37-year-old man of Bulgarian origin was attacked, likely by someone known to him. According to police reports, the victim had exited the club on Lassani Street at that time to speak with the aforementioned person.
Without warning, the 37-year-old was stabbed multiple times in the abdominal area, triggering an emergency response. The Immediate Action unit was called, along with the ambulance service, which transported the victim to Nikaia General State Hospital. Shortly after, the 37-year-old succumbed to his injuries. No arrests have been made so far. The preliminary investigation has been taken over by the Crime Investigation and Detection Subdivision of Western Attica.
