Thessaloniki: She had just returned home – Had suffered a stroke
Information indicates that the unfortunate woman had returned home that same morning. The 59-year-old had previously suffered a stroke and required hospitalization for 12 days. In fact, her brother was the one who took her to the hospital on September 9th and helped her return home after discharge. It’s noteworthy that the confessed murderer appeared to care particularly for his sister, especially after her health ordeal, according to reports. Remarkably, the 50-year-old had left a note in the apartment building with “warm” words about his sister, asking residents to treat her well because she was in a very vulnerable position. The victim’s hospitalization was also confirmed by a neighbor of the unfortunate woman. “The woman was hospitalized with a stroke and returned home today.” According to neighbors, there was no prior argument, no voices were heard except around noon when a scream was heard from the unfortunate woman’s apartment. “Around 11-12 in the morning I heard a shriek but didn’t understand what happened,” one witness reports. According to unconfirmed information, the two siblings – half-siblings from different mothers – had a confrontation shortly before the murder.
The 50-year-old was facing psychiatric problems
Additionally, neighbors reported that the man allegedly suffered from psychiatric problems. Authorities’ investigation found no history of domestic violence, while so far the perpetrator has not stated the reason that led him to the heinous act, and has requested the presence of a lawyer.
