September 2025 pension payments will be made in two phases, with pensioners, both salaried and non-salaried, waiting until the last week of August to see the amounts in their accounts. OAEE, OGA and ETAA pensioners will be paid first.
The payment is scheduled for Tuesday, August 26, 2025, with the money available at ATMs from the previous business day. On the same day, all supplementary pensions from the private sector (salaried and non-salaried pensioners) will also be paid, along with all new pensioners – those who applied for retirement from January 1, 2017 onwards, based on law 4387/2016.
Two days later, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, it will be the turn of salaried pensioners from former funds such as IKA, OTE, DEH, NAT, ETAP-MME and TSEAPGSO. Note that on the same day, both main and supplementary public sector pensions will be paid. The money is available at ATMs from the previous business day, after 5:00 PM.
September 2025 pensions: Payment dates by fund
According to the e-EFKA announcement, the payment dates follow the rule of separation between salaried and non-salaried workers and are structured as follows:
On Tuesday, August 26, 2025, main pensions from the former non-salaried funds OAEE, OGA and ETAA will be paid, along with main pensions granted since the establishment of EFKA under law 4387/2016, through OPS-EFKA (salaried and non-salaried pensioners from January 1, 2017 onwards) and all supplementary pensions from the private sector (non-salaried and salaried).
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, main pensions from former salaried funds [IKA-ETAM, banks, OTE, DEH, OTHER INTEGRATED FUNDS (TSEAPGSO, TSP-ISAP), NAT, ETAT and ETAP-MME] will be paid, as well as main and supplementary public sector pensions.
It should be noted that pensioners’ attention is also focused on retroactive payments to be given by the state. The retroactive payments concern approximately 100,000 pensioners, of whom 70,000 are military retirees waiting to receive money for 27 months, with amounts ranging between €1,200 and €3,500. E-EFKA is trying to make the payments within August, although the most likely scenario is early September.
