Moments of anguish were experienced in Santorini by a well-known Greek criminal lawyer, when his boat ran aground on dry land and sank. According to cretalive, the incident immediately prompted the mobilization of the Coast Guard, which rushed to rescue the lawyer and his wife.
The Coast Guard reports that the criminal lawyer’s wife was slightly injured from the grounding and required stitches.
After his rescue, the criminal lawyer was arrested by the competent authorities, following the prescribed procedure, and was subsequently released. The relevant prosecutor was also informed about the incident.
