Meanwhile, two people were killed due to a Russian drone raid on Zaporizhzhia in southeastern Ukraine, according to local authorities. In an area of the Luhansk region under Russian military control, Ukrainian strikes caused the death of four water company employees, as reported by pro-Russian leader Leonid Pasechnyk on Telegram. Two other people were wounded in these attacks that caused damage to oil facilities, he added.
It should be noted that Russian armed forces launched 6,297 drone attacks against Ukraine in July, a record number since the war began in February 2022, according to an AFP count based on data from Ukrainian authorities.
