The results of the DNA examination shed light on the shocking case in Rhodes after years of silence and abuse, revealing that one of her two children is the biological child of her own father. The 29-year-old mother of two children reported that she was raped daily by her own father from childhood. The case has now moved to the judicial investigation phase, following intervention by social services and a prosecutorial order for preliminary examination.

Specifically, as revealed by “Dimokratiki,” according to official and scientifically processed genetic test results, one of her two children is the biological child of her own father. This finding now leads to charges for a series of the most serious felony crimes.
Rhodes: What the DNA revealed
The prosecutorial order to collect and examine biological material was the beginning of the end for covering up the case. The examinations were conducted at the Criminological Research Directorate, with samples from the child, his mother, the alleged perpetrator, and other persons for paternity exclusion.
The result, as revealed by “Dimokratiki,” was indisputable:
The probability of the accused’s paternity exceeds 99.999%, with statistical superiority 274,309,387 times compared to any other man.
No genetic compatibility was found with the other potential fathers who were tested.
This scientific evidence is characterized as “fundamental evidentiary material” for the investigated crime of continued incest, as it is the only element that absolutely proves the biological relationship.
“He raped me every day, even in my new home”
The 29-year-old woman grew up in a dysfunctional family environment. Her parents had divorced early. Her mother, according to testimony, had a history of substance addiction, while her father had been smoking cannabis for years. She experienced domestic violence from a young age, which later turned into systematic sexual abuse. At age 15, she moved to her grandmother’s house, where her father also lived. There, as she reports, the nightmare began.
The 29-year-old’s testimony is chilling. She describes systematic rapes that occurred mainly at night but not only, anywhere in the house: against the wall, on the floor, on chairs, in the bathroom. “Most times he would grab me, pull down my clothes and hold me so I couldn’t move,” she testified.
When asked by police about the frequency of incidents, her answer was clear: “Every day. Once or more. There were days when he raped me three times.” She also reports that even when she managed to rent her own house briefly to escape, her father would go there and continue the abuse. She had no financial independence and was forced to return.
She had her first child with another man, the second, as proven, with her own father. During that period she was in a relationship but hadn’t realized anything. The revelation came when DNA testing was ordered by social services, which had already removed the children from her custody.
She stated that she had never spoken to anyone, as she feared he would kill her. She describes her father as violent, especially under the influence of substances. She mentioned incidents of attacks on other family members, even with a knife. Her daughter, who was living with her then, according to her doesn’t appear to have been abused, but she admits she can’t be certain.
The timeline of the complaint
The case was only revealed when child services removed custody of her two children. At that moment, the woman spoke for the first time to a friend, who encouraged her to file an official police report. That’s when the entire history of abuse was revealed. She reports that her father only stopped abusing her when she became pregnant with the second child, which ultimately proved to be his own.
Accused denies rape, admits to contact
The accused, according to the preliminary case file, admitted to the existence of sexual contact but denies rape charges. He claims the acts were “consensual” and that they “stopped when they realized it was wrong.”
This defense was characterized as provocative and extreme by authorities, as it ignores the position of power a parent has over their child and overlooks the fact that the complainant was a minor when the abuse began.
Legal proceedings
The case has moved to the next stage as the case file has been completed by the Crime Investigation and Detection Subdivision of Rhodes and has been properly submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office, with charges including:
• Rape (Article 336 P.C.)
• Continued incest (345 P.C.)
• Sexual acts with minors (339 P.C.)
• Abuse of minor for indecency (342 P.C.)
• Neglect of minors
The accused is defended by lawyers Stelios Alexandris and Polyxeni Chatzigianni.
The case of the 29-year-old from Rhodes is not isolated. It is the voice of all those who couldn’t speak. DNA proved what society feared to hear: a child was born from rape and incest, within an environment of violence and fear.
She seeks justice, protection and the return of her children, but above all she asks that no other child will live through what she experienced.
Science has spoken. Society can no longer remain silent.
